Coco Crisp hit a two-run homer and two late Red Sox rallies fell short, as the Cleveland Indians beat Boston, 4-3, to complete a three-game sweep of the 2016 American League Division Series at Fenway Park on Monday night.

With the victory, Cleveland advanced to face the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League Championship Series later this week.

Together with Tyler Naquin’s two-run single in the fourth inning, Crisp’s sixth-inning blast gave the Indians a 4-1 lead, but Boston rallied for a run in the sixth.

Retiring Red Sox hero David Ortiz’s final major league at-bat came with one on and two out in the eighth against Cleveland closer Cody Allen. Ortiz walked, setting up Hanley Ramirez’s RBI-single in the next at-bat.

Representing the tying run at second base, the slow-footed Ortiz was then pulled for pinch-runner Marco Hernández. However, Xavier Bogaerts couldn’t keep the Boston rally alive, lining out to second base to end the inning.

In the ninth, Allen allowed a two-out single to Jackie Bradley Jr. and then walked Dustin Pedroia before getting Travis Shaw to fly out to end the game.

Josh Tomlin got the win for the Indians. Clay Buchholz took the loss for the Sox.
