Alert Issued After Robbery on WMU Campus

Campus Police at Western Michigan University last night issued an alert after another armed robbery was reported.  This follows other robberies over the weekend near the west campus area.

Two students walking between the health center and Sangren Hall were held up at gunpoint at around 9.  The robbers stole one of the student’s backpacks and then fled.

The robbers are described as black males, one of them wearing a University of Michigan windbreaker, the other wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.  The men left in a dark colored sedan with a roof rack.
