The wait is over to see the fantastic treasures that Michiganders have stored away!

Tonight at 8 pm the 23rd season of the PBS TV series 'Antiques Roadshow' kicks off and they do it in style featuring Michigan!

The show filmed not one but three episodes back in June (2018) at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills. It has been reported that around  3,000 people brought about 6,000 items to be appraised by experts. The program features local antiques owners who bring in items to be appraised by experts. Provenance, history, and value of the items are discussed.

Detroit Free Press stated that we can look forward to some pretty cool items..

Over the course of the three episodes, the array of collectibles will include an 1835 map of Detroit, a Keith Haring archive, a copy of "The First Men in the Moon" signed by Neil Armstrong and civil rights posters featuring the iconic photos of Danny Lyon.

I will have the popcorn popped and and ready at 8 tonight to see some of Michigan's treasures!
