The Pop-up restaurant craze is happening all across the country but now it's a hit in Kalamazoo Michigan!

Noel Corwin's club formally known as Kalamazoo Supper Club started the Pop-up restaurant trend about 4 years ago and on Sept 25th a Pop-up  restaurant will appear at the Boatyard Brewing Company for just one night.

I adore the idea of the Pop-up Restaurant because it is simple and lovely.  According to the National Restaurant Association...

"Pop-up dining involves "mini-restaurants that temporarily operate in parks, plazas, galleries, warehouses, event centers and larger restaurants,"

The Pop-up restaurants in our area have been gaining popularity, in fact the last one sold out. The cost of the meal/experience averages out to about $20 per person.

Mlive quoted Corwin as saying...

"It was an opportunity to host and serve guests in a different format."

To top off the next event Boatyard Brewing is making a special beer for the event, this could be a night to remember!

Below is a great example of a 'Pop-up'  restaurant...excuse the pun...it's a little taste of what you can expect....
