A former U.S. President and the Mayor of Motown will speak and nearly 20 musical acts will perform at Aretha Franklin's funeral on August 31 in Detroit. Here's how to see it as we honor and remember the Queen of Soul.

Although she never recorded for Motown records, the stars and the city of Detroit are remembering Aretha Franklin with a very special funeral event at 10am on August 31. Services will be broadcast live on Detroit television stations with the national networks expected to carry parts of the ceremony. The Associated Press will livestream the observance from Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.

No timeline has been announced nor a program issued but with several high-profile speakers and nearly 20 performers, the funeral services could last several hours. Here's who is scheduled to be a part of the event:
