I have been a voice of common sense and reason from the time I first opened the mic in 1985 at WFMK in Lansing, Michigan. I have traveled tens of thousands of miles since that day pursuing hard news along with the most colorful personalities I could find. Spending nearly 15 years working as a television news anchor and investigative reporter, I was able to hone my craft. My message connects with people from all backgrounds. The last three years in front of the news camera, I worked for NBC at WCMH in Columbus, Ohio where my investigative reports were regularly featured on CNBC and NBC News Channel. More recently I returned to my radio roots. The Steve Gruber Show launched on four stations in early 2012. The program now has 20 affiliates delivering my voice and unique perspective each morning from 6 AM to 9AM. The Michigan Association of Broadcasters has named the Steve Gruber Show the best network morning show four times so far including the past 2 years in a row. I have interviewed President Donald Trump on the program along with many other notable newsmakers including: Vice President Mike Pence, Senator Rand Paul, Florida Governor Rick Scott, Ann Coulter, Senator Marco Rubio, Steve Forbes, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, Charlie Daniels and many more. The growing success of the program and the strength of my voice attracted attention and I have now become a regular contributor to the BBC on several of its worldwide networks both on radio and television, National Public Radio. I have also been featured on Fox Business, HLN and numerous other outlets. My writing has also been featured in the pages of the Washington Times as well as several prominent websites and magazines. Over the past 25 years, I have been a successful businessman as well. I founded and launched Wolf Creek in 1994, one of the nations most notable and successful outdoor adventure programming companies. While guiding the company, I created several iconic outdoor brands including the longest running television series on The Outdoor Channel, Outdoor America where I am the longest running host on the network. In fact, I own several thriving businesses today with my wife and Executive Producer Ivey. Together we have focused our considerable energy and talents into growing the successful brands. I have lived in many states but have always returned to Michigan. My family and Midwest roots always draw me home. Wanderlust however needs to be fed often so you never know where the next adventure may take me and Ivey, but you can be sure we will regale you with the tales someday soon. Stay tuned. There is always more to come.

Gruber: Every Assassination Linked To Socialists
The left will cry foul over this observation but no matter how you slice it when American Presidents have been gunned down, the killers have always been from the far-left political persuasion. It should come as no surprise, the recent attempted assassination of Republican members of Congress was an insane member of the Bernie Sanders posse...
Gruber: Michigan Congressman Targeted By Shooter
A man who wanted to kill as many Republicans as possible opened fire on GOP members who were on a baseball field practicing for a charity baseball game against Democrats.
Gruber: Michigan Congressman Leads Lawsuit Against Trump
John Conyers the long serving Congressman from Michigan was among about 200 US lawmakers that filed a lawsuit against President Trump today.
Maher: A Perfect Example
Bill Maher and I agree on little politically but I have usually found his defense of free speech an important embrace of what liberals used to be. However in two glaring examples of going too far this week the repugnant mask of what really drives some of these left wing entertainers has boiled to the surface and flowed out of the Hollywood cesspool.
Gruber: The Sky Is Falling Or Not
The Chicken Little refrain of the “The sky is falling, the sky is falling” is a frequent retort for those who throw a wet blanket on the whole idea of ‘Global Warming’ which is what I am going to call it.
Gruber: O’Reilly’s Job? No, I Want Scott’s Job
So in broadcasting you of course look across the playing field to the mountain top in the distance and wonder if you can climb that high. I am sure it must be that way in most, if not all competitive careers. Let’s be honest when you were 14 years old in the park shooting baskets with your friends you wondered what it would be like to be Magic or Michael with one tick left on the clock...

Canary Died In The Berkley Mine
Berkley California was the center of the free speech universe when I was born. Anti-war protests and those standing up against the man erupted from the California cauldron of ideas.
But the molten conversation has turned to stone and the canary has died in the mine at Berkley because free-speech is banned there now...
Gruber: O’Reilly Factored Out
Bill O’Reilly has been the king of cable news for more than 15 years but today the Fox News Channel firebrand is out.
The Over Under On Spicer
I’ve had an ongoing debate with a liberal friend of mine about the fate of Sean Spicer. It is one of the things we can agree on these days. Although to be fair I should point out that he predicted Trump would get no more than 150 Electoral Votes on Election Day and has readily admitted ever since that he wasn’t even close on that call...
Gruber: Politics and Pinched Nerves
My father used to say that some people go through life with a pinched nerve and there is nothing you can do to make them happy. Truer words have never been spoken.
It makes me think of the blathering critics of President Barack Obama who blasted him at every turn because America was leading from behind and he had weakened our nation both at home and overseas...
