Battle Creek police are seeking a warrant against a woman who allegedly engaged in witness intimidation. The Battle Creek Enquirer says that last Friday, a woman, her husband and her brother had been arriving at their home on South Wabash Ave, when a car drove past at high speed; the car then turned around, drove past again, and a woman inside yelled “I am going to kill you”. The victim of this incident is the parent of children, who were allegedly victims of sexual assault over the summer.

The 36-year-old Battle Creek woman is the mother of the alleged suspects in that case. The woman denied to police that she had been threatening anyone, and said she had been sleeping at the time of this incident. The victim, however, said that these were just the latest in a string of threats made against her family. Police are now seeking a warrant for witness intimidation against their suspect.
