Battle Creek Police Searching For Attempted Murder Suspect

The Battle Creek Police are on the lookout for an attempted murder suspect this morning.

Authorities say that the male suspect broke into a home in the 5600 block of Dahlia Drive around 10pm Sunday, and attacked a man inside with a knife.  The suspect then fled the scene in a white Dodge Magnum.

The victim was transported to Bronson Kalamazoo and is listed in stable condition.

Police say they have identified the suspect, but have not located him as of yet.  If you have any information regarding this attack, you are asked to contact the Battle Creek Police or Silent Observer.
