It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Kalamazoo City workers spent a sunny afternoon decorating Bronson Park.

2018 was a long year for Bronson Park: first it was the Fountain of the Pioneers controversy and then the homeless encampment. Things are back to normal as the holiday tradition of Candy Cane Lane has returned.

City workers spent the afternoon of November 14 stringing lights and strategically placing the 8' candy canes to make a cheerful walkway through the park. A stroll down Candy Cane Lane is a holiday tradition for Kalamazoo residents and there has even been a song written about it. Of course, it's always prettier with a little snow, but I'm sure we won't have to wait long for that.

Take a look at the City of Kalamazoo's time lapse video of Santa's helpers decorating Bronson Park in just over a minute- a Christmas miracle indeed.
