Police in Kalamazoo say the victim in an armed robbery attempt last night managed to stab one of his attackers and escape.

Another man had been convicted in the murder of a Kalamazoo boy.  13-year-old Michael Day was killed May 26th with a shotgun during gang violence in Kalamazoo’s Edison neighborhood.

Two Injured in Kalamazoo Shooting

Two people were injured by gunfire at an apartment complex in Kalamazoo yesterday.  Police responded to the Interfaith Apartments at around 6:30 in the evening when the shooting was reported.  There was no one at the scene when officers arrived but two victims later showed up at area hospitals
