Did you know carmakers are keeping data on you?

The United States government via the Government Accountability Office recently reported that auto manufacturers are actually keep data on you.  The data is collected via your onboard navigation systems and worse you as a car owner can not ask them to destroy the data.

Not only are these navigation systems collecting data on you there are also Event data recorders, known as black boxes, transponders like the EZ Pass which all collect data on your driving and locations.
