Fire That Destroyed Kalamazoo Home Investigated As Suspicious
A Kalamazoo family managed to escape a fire that destroyed their home Thursday night.
MLive reports that around 10:30pm, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety crews were called to the 1200 block of 4th St, to find a house fully involved with flames. Firefighters worked against the blaze for several hours, impeded by cold temperatures.
Two adults and two children had been inside when the fire started, but they were able to get out with minor injuries. The home is considered a loss, and authorities say that the fire is being treated as suspicious.
