First Woman or First Hispanic as President? Who Cares!

Florida Senator Republican Marco Rubio became the second candidate to be President of the United States with Cuban roots. Therefore he would become the first Hispanic to be Commander in Chief if elected. Senator Ted Cruz the outspoken Texas Republican is also from Cuban descent.

This fact seems lost on those in the national news media. All the talk is about Hillary Clinton possibly becoming the first woman to hold the office. Why is that more important than being the first Hispanic President, I was asking myself and then it dawned on me. Duh! It’s simple- Hillary is a Democrat and Rubio and Cruz are both conservative Republicans, making them just about irrelevant to those in the 4th estate.
