Fans are encouraged to bring their own device for a photo with the trophy, or utilize the professional photographer who will be made available for photos.

Along with the exhibits and games that will be erected inside Wings Event Center for the February 5 and 6 contests against Toledo, the Hockey Hall of Fame will also be sending the Conn Smythe Trophy, the Frank J. Selke Trophy and the Turner Cup to be displayed during the weekend.

“These trophies and exhibits being displayed at Wings Event Center is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” K-Wings director of sales Toni Daniels said. “This Hockey Heritage event is bigger than the Kalamazoo Wings, it’s about our community. We are welcoming representatives spanning from Orlando, Florida to Anchorage, Alaska. We want you to help represent our city.”

Awarded since the 1964-65 season, The Conn Smythe Trophy is awarded annually to the player judged most valuable to his team during the National Hockey League’s Stanley Cup playoffs. The entire list of winners can be found here.

The Frank J. Selke Trophy has been awarded annually to the National Hockey League forward who demonstrates the most skill in the defensive component of the game since 1977-78. The entire list of winners can be found here.

The Turner Cup was awarded to the champions of the International Hockey League from 1945-2001 and 2007-2010. The Kalamazoo Wings were champions of the 1978-79 Turner Cup under the direction of Bill Purcell and again in 1979-80 led by head coach Doug McKay.
