    Fall Season | Pumpkin Lane & Corn Maze

    Gull Meadow Farms, Richland MI

    The opening of Gull Meadow Farms is the true start of the fall season for southwest Michigan! During the autumn months, Gull Meadow Farms has "U Pick" apple days, a great farm market, delicious doughnuts and apple cider and more! Check out Pumpkin Lane and experience more than 3 acres of pumpkin-related fun! There is a train ride, HUGE pumpkin patch, in-ground tube slide and a labyrinth, just to name a few. You can also take a walk through the kid-friendly — but adult level — corn maze!

    Sept. 26 | Scarecrow & Pumpkins

    Leila Arboretum, Battle Creek MI

    Leila Arboretum is a beautiful place when the flowers are in full bloom during the summer, but the REAL fun begins when the leaves start to turn! Join the friendly staff to make your own handmade scarecrow and take a pumpkin home with you. During these fun activities, you and the family get to learn all about the fall harvest. Entry to the event also gives you a free day at the Kingsman Museum!

    Oct. 2-31 | Haunted Adventure

    Cornwell Turkeyville USA, Marshall MI

    Head out to the country for a good time on a ghoulish hay ride, be brave on the spooky train ride or test your mind in the House of Illusions. Turkeyville USA has been hosting the Haunted Adventure for many years now, and it is always a hit with the family. Plus, we can't complain about the dinner at Turkeyville's restaurant!

    Oct.14-30 | The Zoo Boo

    Binder Park Zoo, Battle Creek MI

    If you grew up in a 30-mile radius of Battle Creek, chances are you have fond memories of this event as a child. So, why not make some memories with your kids as well? With a haunted Africa tour, free backlight mini-golf, wagon rides and jack-o-lanterns galore, this is a must-do event for Halloween!

    Oct. 24 | Creature of the Night: Whoooo Dun It?

    Kalamazoo Nature Center, Kalamazoo MI

    This event is a non-frightening Halloween alternative. The nature center will introduce you and your younger ones to the critters and creatures of the night! Be a part of a mystery walk and end your adventure with a craft and snacks.
