High Wind Warnings Thru Friday; Power Outages In The Area.
The National Weather Service has issued a HIgh Wind Warning for this entire region thru Friday morning at 5am.
Fighting against the wind
The High Wind Warning says that winds will pick up this afternoon to the 35-45 mph range and some gust will get to 60 mph, which could cause damage.
The warning also alerts to hazardous driving conditions on North/South roadways.
Consumer's Energy is reporting scattered power outages due to the high winds. Those outages may become more numerous with the winds picking up Thursday afternoon and Thursday night.
