A portion of the Indiana Toll Road was closed (8/3/16) following the rollover crash of a semi carrying paint.

The white paint spilled onto the highway and median at Mile Marker 101 near Elkhart. The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed for the clean-up.

The Elkhart Truth reports,

According to Art Smith of the Indiana State Police, the truck left the roadway and flipped when the driver attempted to steer back into his lane.

Traffic traveling east can either exit at Exit 92 (Cassopolis Street) in Elkhart or Exit 96 (C.R. 17) in Washington Township and re-enter the toll road at the S.R. 15 interchange in Bristol, which remains open. The accident happened just west of eastbound entrance ramp from S.R. 15 onto the Toll Road.
