Is “American Pie” Really The Most Famous Movie Set in Michigan? What About “Kalamazoo?”

I guess it would depend on your age, but is American Pie really the most-famous movie based in Michigan?

This time Business Insider takes a stab at picking.

Now, granted, Somewhere in Time is from 1980, but it's a romantic drama, and it features the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

Then again, I have to toss this one in, if for no other reason than it features my boss's voice (Mike McKelly) at the beginnning of the trailer for "Kalamazoo?"

By the way, Mayim Bialik, currently from The Big Bang Theory, was in the cast of Kalamazoo? (2006) and came to our studios. And, being the scientist she is, Bialik was fascinated by how all of our radio equipment worked.
