A Kalamazoo Wings hockey player recently made national news for saying "meow" in a TV interview during a game against the Fort Wayne Komets on Nov. 28.

A little background is necessary here. The "meow game" comes from the 2001 movie Super Troopers. Originally called "the cat game," the goal is sneek the word "meow" into the conversation as much a possible as a substitute for the word "now." The K-Wings' Ray Kaunisto did seven!

What's really cool is that this video is getting lots of national attention — it was picked up by ESPN.com, the Huffington Post and is currently trending on Facebook.
