The ECHL has once again realigned the conferences and divisions for the next season.  The  central division, which features the Kalamazoo Wings,  has had a few changes for the upcoming season.

According to the ECHL, Tulsa and Wichita have moved to the mountain division. The Cincinnatti Cyclones join the central division along with the Kansas City Mavericks, who move over from the mountain division.

The new teams will join the K-Wings along with their long time rivals Ft. Wayne & Toledo, plus the Indy Fuel and Quad City Mallards in the central division.   The K-Wings moved to the western conference last summer.

The playoff schedule is set to stay the same from what was introduced this past season.

K-Wings home opener is scheduled for October 21st against Brampton.  They open the season in Cincinnati against the Cyclones on October 14th.
