A poll conducted and recently released finds that Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, has a lead over Senator Stabenow 48.6% to Stabenow’s 46.09% when including voters leaning towards one candidate.

One caveat is that Kid Rock has not definitively said he will be running for for Senator next year.

If he decides to run he must first win in the Republican primary. This same poll show’s currently he would do extremely well in that race. He leads among potential Republican candidates polling at 49.62% with second places going to “undecided” at 28.10%.

If Kid Rock was to run in the primary he would run against Former Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Bob Young Jr. who has officially announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate and Lena Epstein, who was a co-chairman of President Trump's presidential campaign in Michigan.

The poll was conducted by the Trafalgar Group between July 25 and July 27. There were 1078 respondents and it has a margin of error of 3.06%.

Kid Rock was born in Romeo, Michigan and now owns two homes in Michigan, one in Detroit and another in Clarkston.

This could get interesting, my fellow Michiganders.
