Officials with the Bath Township Police Department and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources are reporting that a 67-year-old Lansing man was killed late Friday night in a deer hunting accident in Clinton County. Police say the incident happened on East Clark Road.

Police say that the preliminary investigation reveals that the shooting victim was deer hunting on public property and was apparently shot by another subject. Officials add that the Lansing man that was shot was wearing hunter's orange. So far, there are no suspects in the hunting accident and police say that several individuals have been interviewed about the shooting.
