LifeCare Ambulance Service is joining organizations across the country to celebrate Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, May 15-21, 2016. The week honors those who serve those in need, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, medical first-responders, dispatchers, and support staff.

Locally, LifeCare Ambulance is taking EMS week to introduce EMS candidates to the field and create awareness of a rapidly growing industry. The company needs trained EMS personnel and is offering educational scholarships for all levels of training. “It is a terrific opportunity for someone who is interested in the field to become qualified and save in their education and training costs,” says LifeCare CEO Ron Slagell. Individuals can apply for a LifeCare Ambulance EMS Scholarship at http://lifecareems.org/ or by calling 269.969.8844. Applications are due May 30, 2016.
