Christmas Comes Alive- Where To Find Live Nativity Scenes in Kalamazoo
Mother Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus and live animals visit Kalamazoo to bring the Christmas miracle to life. Here's where to find them this season.
December 1-3, hours vary
First Reformed Church of Portage, 7905 S. Westnedge in Portage, offers a theatrical reenactment of Mary and Joseph's trip to Bethlehem to give birth to the baby Jesus. The play is mostly indoors, culminating in an outdoor nativity scene.
December 8-11, 6 p.m.- 8 or 9 p.m.
Lighthouse on 11th, 4321 S. 11th Street has a guided trail pilgrimage with shepherds, live camels, a petting zoo and live Christmas music.
December 18, 6-9 p.m.
