In a release, BB BS Executive Director Amy Kuchta said “since 1978, the Annual Benefit Dinner has played an important role in providing funding to help the agency match vulnerable children with caring, supportive and consistent mentors and to provide ongoing support to nearly 1,200 matches annually. Each year, the money raised at the Benefit Dinner accounts for more than one-third of the agency’s annual budget.

The evening will include a cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception, a three-course dinner, the opportunity to bid on silent and live auctions, raffles, and the keynote address from Lloyd Carr. Kuchta urges supporters to buy their tickets early as the dinner sells out year after year. “We expect many, many guests will be eager to hear Coach Carr speak about his successful time with the U-M football program and hear firsthand his thoughts on Jim Harbaugh taking over leadership of the program,” Kuchta says.

For tickets, contact Sherry Butler at 269-382-6800 ext. 103. Ticket price is $300.
