It took a while, but Bridgestone Corporation has picked the winners in their national "Fuel the Drive" contest.   The contest had students and supporters voting early and often on line, in an effort to beat out other schools and organizations vying for the prize.  The voting came right down to the wire, in a battle between Minges Brook Elementary and World Compass Academy of Castle Rock, Colorado.

Well....both schools win $25,000!  Bridgestone says it decided to give out two grand prizes "based on the quality of contest submissions and the narrow margin of votes between the top two entries."

The "Fuel the Drive," contest funds school health and wellness projects. The Lakeview elementary school will be using the funds to purchase updated playground equipment for its students.
