Mizzou Not About Race But Money!

The President of the Missouri University System, Tim Wolfe was forced into resignation over allegations of ‘institutional racism’ and his failure to address the demands of minority students on campus- specifically black students.

Part of the demands leveled by so called student leaders of a group called Concerned Student 1950 that was published in the Columbia Daily Tribune include this excerpt: Tim Wolfe must acknowledge his white male privilege, recognize that systems of oppression exist, and provide a verbal commitment to fulfilling Concerned Student 1-9-5-­0 demands

But that wasn’t all- the group continued on with a series of demands- and yes that is exactly what they are calling them that went well beyond admitting so called white privilege to include this: We demand that the University of Missouri creates and enforces comprehensive racial awareness and inclusion curriculum throughout all campus departments and units, mandatory for all students, faculty, staff, and administration. This curriculum must be vetted, maintained, and overseen by a board comprised of students, staff, and faculty of color.

We demand that by the academic year 2017-2018, the University of Missouri increases the percentage of black faculty and staff campus-wide to 10%.

But in the end what was it really all about? Well about twenty members of the football team- a pretty lousy football team threatened to not play this coming weekend unless the demands were met. If the team had failed to take the field against BYU, it would have cost Missouri about a Million dollars. So guess what? The football coach quickly said he supported the players and not long after Wolfe resigned and shortly thereafter so did Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin.

It seems the million dollars, and spineless politically correct administrators were more important than doing the right thing.

What is the right thing you ask?

Well first of all you do not negotiate with terrorists- and though that would be a stretch here, it is not a stretch to say the fringe elements on Missouri’s campus making it’s list of demands and crying out as victims of white privilege and oppression certainly bullied the educators at Missouri to step aside.

They should not have left. They only empower the next round of bullies to make even more demands and attack anyone they don’t agree with and force them to resign.

For the record one of the alleged transgressions of now former President Tim Wolfe was not doing more about a swastika smeared with human fecal matter on a bathroom wall a few weeks ago. What exactly is the right course of action when one student, an unknown student, put his hands in poop and smears it into a swastika on one wall, of one bathroom on a massive campus? Should the President of the University raced over with a bottle Mr. Clean or is that just promoting gender bias? I mean seriously, it was one incident in one bathroom. One.

And to be honest- that guy likely woke up with a screaming hangover and semi dried poop on his hands and under his fingernails.

By the way is their a singular racist connection between a swastika, whether its made of poop or spray paint, to the black community? I always thought of that symbol to be one of hatred toward many groups but none more than those in the Jewish community. Maybe the entire message was misunderstood and it had nothing to do with black students on campus.

I have no idea and my guess is the folks running roughshod over the University System in the Show-Me State have no idea either but it sure is convenient for the narrative being pushed by the extreme left in this country. It is the same group that would have you believe that all cops, including the black ones, are racist against people of color in this nation. The same group that would have you believe there is a war on women in America. The same group that would have you believe that you are a racist no matter what- if you are born white. The same group that would have you believe that anybody white is a person of entitlement and privilege. I’m guessing they’ve never seen many pictures from poor parts of West Virginia or Kentucky or Pennsylvania. Just a guess.

Make no mistake the truth really isn’t important and really isn’t that interesting to those with promoting the agenda that all people of color are victims in America.

It seems that the mob rules in Missouri today, once again.
