State officials say people living near the site of an oil spill that fouled the Kalamazoo River in 2010 probably won't have long-term health problems from breathing chemicals released into the air.

According to the Associated Press, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says some residents reported symptoms including headaches, nausea and eye irritation. But the agency says air monitoring found no oil-related chemicals at dangerous concentrations.
