Thursday night, hundreds of people flocked to Rosa Parks Circle in Downtown Grand Rapids for a "Not My President" protest to show their opposition to Donald Trump being elected.

Folks of all different backgrounds and lifestyles came together with their signs and their chants and flooded the park with a sea of people and signs voicing their unhappiness.

Many got up on the stage to speak to the crowd about a variety of subjects from women's rights to immigration to marriage equality.

Later in the evening, the protest went mobile, with protesters marching through the streets of downtown Grand Rapids chanting and waving their signs.
