Police to Search Lake for Missing Skier

Michigan State Police say police divers will search Asylum Lake in Kalamazoo today for a missing 56-year-old cross-country skier. They say Takashi Sugimori was last seen on April 2nd. Investigators think he may’ve tried walking on the ice to test it, because they found footprints in the area. Moving ice prevented dive teams from conducting a search of the lake, up until now. A police underwater robot was used, instead.
