Currently in Michigan when a recount of an election is requested the requester must only pay a paltry $125 per precinct, do you believe that will really cover the true cost?

As I stated in my accompanying article there are approximately 6,300 precincts in Michigan for a total cost of $787,500.

I believe in recounts when the vote is very close but I also believe that the people or groups requesting the recount fully pay for that cost.  As I stated above I do not believe that $125.00 per precinct will come close to covering the cost.  We must look at passing a bill that states the requesting party pay the full cost of the recount whatever that cost ends up being.  Perhaps we make the requesting party put in escrow enough funds to ensure payment.

What are your thoughts about this possible recount?
