Portage City Council Makes Manager Choice
Portage has selected a new City Manager. At a meeting yesterday, the City Council chose the interim manager, Larry Shaffer for the job on a 5-2 vote.
The process to select a new City Manager began when Maurice Evans retired from the post back in April.
The specifics of Shaffer’s contract will be discussed at the November 4th Council meeting.
