Recount Confirms O’Brien As Winner In 20th State Senate District

A recount in the 20^th State Senate District has been completed.

The race initially was won by State Representative Margaret O’Brien by a narrow margin over State Representative Sean McCann in November.

After a three-day recount requested by McCann, O’Brien was confirmed as the winner, gaining two more votes.

The third person in the race, Libertarian Lorence Wenke, lost 92 votes after the canvassers found a clerical error.
