Road Commission Sets Up Mass Notification System For Road Work

The Kalamazoo County Road Commission has set up a system for easily alert locals of road closures and other related news.

RCKC CONNECT is a mass notification service for community outreach communications. Citizens receive important time sensitive messages of their choosing, by phone at home or work, mobile phones, text message, email or via the mobile member application Everbridge CONTACTBRIDGE. Citizens pick where and how they wish to receive notifications.

To start the process, you have to sign up and create a profile with contact information, location and choose the Alert Subscriptions in order to receive notifications from RCKC CONNECT. Using your mobile device or desktop computer, go to www.kalamazoocountyroads.com

A couple of notes about the registration process:

1) When you register using your mobile devices, the mobile application, Everbridge CONTACTBRIDGE is downloaded automatically upon registration.

2) If you sign up using your desktop, upon completing registration, you are requested to download the mobile member application.

3) The mobile member application Everbridge CONTACTBRIDGE is available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
