Rock Hall Nominees: What Do You Think?

At first glance, it struck me as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame could get a little more edgier, a little more relevant.

The list of nominees announced today has Sting, Green Day, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Chic, Stevie Ray Vaughan, War, Bill Withers, The Marvelettes, The Smiths, Kraftwerk, The Spinners, and not sure if they're ready for these in the Hall; Nine Inch Nail, N.W. A and Lou Reed.

Seems to me that this is what it's all about. Look at the variety and range of the nominees. Rock songs, rap, disco, old school, newer school, Love songs, social commentary. So, what do you think?
