The second suspect in the fatal shooting of a WMU student has been found and arrested.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says that several tips led to an arrest in Muskegon around 9pm Thursday.  The 20-year-old Muskegon native was arrested for his alleged connection to the shooting death of 19-year-old Jacob Jones, December 8.

Authorities say that Jones had been in his apartment near Western Michigan University campus in Kalamazoo, when two suspects attempted to rob him, and ended up shooting him.

The first suspect, 20-year-old former WMU basketball player Joviair Kennedy, was arrested and arraigned on murder charges.

The second suspect is expected to be formally charged Monday.
