Refunds from Michigan Health Insurers

 

Some Michigan citizens will receive refund checks or reduced health care premiums totaling $13.1 million this year.  According to a report by the Obama Administration.

Seventeen Michigan companies did not spend at least 80% of their customers premiums to cover health care as opposed to their administration of the companies.

Michigan led the nation in creating the most manufacturing jobs from May 2012 to May 2014, creating 25,000 jobs according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics.

The state of Texas was second with 22,000 jobs added.

The State of Michigan Ranks ninth in the US in prisoner health care cost.  This is due largely to an aging inmate population, according to a study released Tuesday.
