A murder investigation out of Kalamazoo has now netted an arrest, 3 years after the fact.

Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers arrested 43-year-old Todd Michael Maneke just after noon Monday, August 29, in connection to the 2013 death of 88-year-old Alfred Minka.

Minka had been found dead in his home on Brookmont Drive on August 23, 2013, from blunt force trauma to the head.  Maneke lived across the street from the victim at the time of the slaying.

Authorities say that throughout the years investigators were working hard to find their suspect.

Maneke could face arraignment Tuesday, August 30, on one count of open murder.
