Thank You Nurses, For What You Do, And For Your Spirit and Passion

I got a press release from the state today about it being National Nurses Week, which goes through Friday, Florence Nightengale's birthday. It's timely for me as my doctor has a wonderful new nurse. She's friendly and professional, yes, but what I admire most is her spirit

I was in their office last week for a quick check-up. And her "now make sure you do this" passion really was noticeable. You don't want to disappoint.

There are 158,000 registered nurses in Michigan. This week celebrates their hard work and dedication. Michigan's Health and Human Services Department says this year’s theme, Nursing: the Balance of Mind, Body, and Spirit, is about recognizing the different ways nurses lead others to live healthier lives.

So if you're in the doctor's office this week, or even if you're not, let a nurse know how much your appreciate her.
