This Is Beautifully Written And Could Apply To Relationships, Too
I saw this on Twitter last night, as the baseball game ended last night.
Kansas City was supposed to lose, but won. Oakland was winning, but, in the end, lost. It was written by actor Paul Giamatti's father. A. Bartlett Giamatti was the president of Yale University, and for a short time in the late 80's, commissioner of baseball, before he died young, of a heart attack.
What struck me was how you could replace "baseball" with "relationship" in this, and it would still be beautiful and profound.
