This Will Be A Traffic Headache This Week

Heads up. MDOT says M-43 (Kalamazoo Ave.) will be totally closed from King Highway to Walbridge St. all this week.Here’s the press release from MDOT:

There will a total closure for storm sewer and road repairs on westbound M-43 (Kalamazoo Avenue) between King Highway and Walbridge Street in downtown Kalamazoo from today through 6 p.m. Friday, June 13.

The westbound detour routes are posted on King Highway, M-43 (Gull Road), Ransom Street, Pitcher Street, as well as on Riverview Drive, Paterson Street, and M-331 (Westnedge Avenue).

One eastbound lane will be maintained.

Significant delays are expected, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
