It didn't look promising for the Detroit Tigers Wednesday night, but one inning almost turned the tide against the San Francisco Giants.

Trailing 5-0 through four innings, the Tigers would score four in the seventh to get within striking distance. It would be the best output for the offense, as they fall 5-4 in the second game of their three-game series with the Giants.

Victor Martinez drove in two runs on the night for the Motown Cats. Ian Kinsler and Nicholas Castellanos each punched in runs in the loss. Kinsler, Martinez and Miguel Cabrera each had two hits.

All five runs were off of Daniel Norris in four innings of work. He is now 4-7 on the season.

The final game of the series takes place Thursday afternoon. The Tigers send out Anibal Sanchez (0-0, 6.34 ERA) while the Giants counter with Johnny Cueto (6-7, 4.26 ERA). Join us for all the action at 12:45pm on 95.3 WBCK!
