Two Arrested After Gunfire In Kalamazoo Sunday

Two suspects are in custody after gunfire and a chase in Kalamazoo yesterday.

Officers first responded to reports of gunfire on Clarence Street at around 12:30 in the afternoon.

Officers got a description of the car the gunman left in and tracked it to Reed Street where a chase began.

The driver crashed on Remine Street and was caught along with two passengers.

Another passenger ran and tried to hide but was caught, and a pistol with a destroyed serial number was recovered.

Two juvenile suspects were turned over to their parents.

The driver and the passenger caught with the gun were taken to the County Jail.
