Just ahead of the Detroit Auto Show next week, several vintage pickup trucks will be stopping at the Gilmore Car Museum on Friday morning before heading to their journey's final destination, the North American International Auto Show, next week in Detroit.

America’s Automotive Trust (AAT) and the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) are taking several vintage American trucks across the country to celebrate our nation’s love affair with the automobile with people across the country. Called “The Drive Home IV,” this 10-day, 2,750-mile journey will conclude at the opening of the Detroit Motor Show – where the vehicles will go on display during the nation’s premier consumer auto event. - America's Automotive Trust release

The stop at the Gilmore Auto Museum is a brief one, lasting only enough time for "cars  and a cup of coffee" on Friday morning, January 11th.

According to the AAT,. among the vintage trucks in the TDH IV caravan will be, a ’55 Chevy 3600, ’65 Ford F100, ’62 International Travelette and a ’57 Ford Ranchero.

The Gilmore Car Museum is off M-43, at 6865 W Hickory Rd. in Hickory Corners.
