Time to set the WABAC machine (If you grew up with Rocky and Bullwinkle, you'll remember that reference) to the late 1950's. We recently found a box of photographs that were being thrown out. And it turns out it's filled with memories of the early days of WKMI.

There are some clues to dating these pictures. And we know of couple of the people shown in them. There's Kalamazoo Mayor Glenn Allen and WKMI sportscaster "Big" Joe Wright. We've also learned the pictures are not all taken at the same time. The current WKMI studios were built in the early 1960's. The picture with Mayor Allen is probably from the 1950's when the Jennings Drive location was just a transmitter site, and the studios were in the State Theatre building (And we have pictures of that, too, coming soon). We're hoping you can help us fill in the rest of the blanks.
