Whiskey Flavored Pigs Make….?

That may sound like a country song about a cheatin' husband, but it's actually happening at a distillery in Iowa.

A friend in the food industry shared an MSN article about the Templeton Rye Distillery in Iowa that's breeding 25 Duroc pigs to have the whiskey essence. The pigs are drinking shots, they're being fed grain used in the distilling process.

Now I don't eat much bacon anymore, but Kathy and several friends are going to think they won the lottery when they read this news. Kathy loves an occasional bloody Mary on the weekend, and this would make an interesting twist to that, I 'm guessing.
