Winter And Road Construction: M-89 Is Up Next

Michigan is living up to the classic punchline about two seasons of the year-winter and road construction. With multiple, big projects going on in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek already, here's another one. M-89 in Battle Creek. With many commuting to Battle Creek from Kalamazoo County (Kellogg's, Federal Bldg., KCC), this promises to make the drive this summer interesting.

M-DOT will be repaving more than 5 miles of M-89 in Battle Creek: Michigan Avenue from Custer Drive to Washington Avenue, and Washington Avenue from Michigan Avenue to I-94 Business Loop/Dickman Road. The project starts Monday, May 4, and goes until early September.
