Winter Getaway Idea: Snowboarding/Ski Jump Event at Boston’s Historic Fenway Park

This is just something that I ran across. It's not for everyone, but piqued my curiosity. Boston's historic Fenway Park will be hosting a snowboard/ski jump festival. The outfield will feature a 100-foot-tall snowboarding and skiing ramp.

In a story in Sports Business Daily, the U.S. Ski and  Snowboard  Assoc. has wanted to do an urban event. So next February 11-12, the same place where Ted Williams was hitting home runs will see ski jumping and snowboarding. Conceptually it reminds me of the National Hockey League's Winter Classic outdoor games on New Year's Day.
