2020 Lineup For Whitecaps 'Tigers Wednesdays' Announced

The West Michigan Whitecaps will continue their Tigers Wednesdays this year. The promotion features appearances from former Tigers players.

According to M-Live, the team announced the lineup for appearances this year. Former Tigers manager, Jim Leyland is one of the highlights for this season. He is scheduled to appear at Fifth Third Ballpark on June 17th.

The list of former Tigers also includes former pitcher, Juan Berenguer (July 22nd), Lance Parish (August 5th) and former first baseman Rob Fick on August 26th.

September 2nd will feature a player announced at a later date. The Whitecaps are the Detroit Tigers Class A affiliate in Grand Rapids. The team this season features a new manager former catcher, Brayan Pena.

As the season ended, the Whitecaps featured Tigers top hitting prospect, Riley Greene. We'll see if he starts in Grand Rapids this spring or if the team keeps him in Lakeland.
