Just the other day I was commenting on how few recalls there have been as we get closer to the end of 2019.  Well, you know how that goes.  Now we've had a steady stream the last couple weeks.  As we look back, here's some "recall highlights" so far this year: cookies, chicken, barbies, drills, flour, infant medicine, fruit, canned spaghetti, tattoos, sausage, marijuana, Replax for migraines, hamburger buns, sausage again and just last Friday Nestle Ready-To-Bake Cookie Dough.

Now, however, something much more serious and widespread.  In an article on abcnews.go.com, the Centers For Disease Control have confirmed a Salmonella Outbreak likely tied to ground beef but, unfortunately, a single common supplier of the product has not been identified according to the CDC.  So far, 10 known people from 6 states have been infected with one having died and 8 others in the hospital.  If you want more information and the rest of the story click HERE.
